摘要: 研究了SiC晶须(SiCw)含量对热压烧结Al 2O 3+SiCw(AS)Al 2O 3+20vol%ZrO 2-2mol%Y 2O 3+SiCw(AZS)陶瓷基复合材料力学性能的影响。结果表明:复合材料的抗弯强度和断裂韧度均随SiCw含量的增加(从0~30vol%)而提高,但在AZS复合材料中,当SiCw含量大于20vol%时,反而导致抗弯强度下降。加入20vol%ZrO 2-2mol%Y 2O 3颗粒可使AS复合材料力学性能进一步改善,AZS复合材料的抗弯强度和断裂韧度均高于相同晶须含量的AS复合材料。SiCw增韧和ZrO 2相变增韧的作用对Al 2O 3陶瓷断裂韧度的贡献具有良好的叠加性,但SiCw对Al 2O 3陶瓷的强化效果大于Al 2O 3+20vol%ZrO 2-2mol%Y 2O 3陶瓷。

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to investigate the effects of SiCw contents on the mechanical properties of hot-pressed Al203+SiCw and Al203+20vol% ZrO2-2mo1% Y2O3+SiCw ceramic matrix composites (AS and AZS composites). The results show that with increasing SiCw content (from 0 to 30vol%) in composites, the flexural strength (σf), fracture toughness (Kic) of AS composites and the Kic of AZS composites are continuely increased, but theσf of AZS composites is increased only up to 20vol% SiCw, increasing SiCw content further (up to 30vol%), it is decreased. It is found that that the mechanical properties of AS composites are improved further by incorporating 20vol% ZrO2-2mol% Y203. Particles theσf, Kic of AZS composites are higher than those of AS composites at the same SiCw content. The effects of SiC whisker toughening and ZrO2 phase transformation toughening on the Kic of Al203 ceramics are substantially synergic, but the strengthening effect of SiCw on the Al203 ceramics is greater than that of Al203+20vo1%Zr02-2mol% Y203 ceranics.
