Abstract: In order to realize the share of manufacturing resources and united advantages of technological resources, a technical solution of establishing Internet-based fnite element analysis (FEA) service network is put forward, by which the manufacturing enterprises and FEA service providers dispersed in different areas can be integrated, and the quick, convenient and reliable FEA tele-service is to be supplied for customers. That will promote innovative product development of small and medium-sized enterprises and enhance their agility. The architecture and main function of the FEA service network are presented. As a verification of feasibility, a prototype system has been developed based on detailed analysis of key enabled technologies.
