Abstract: Based on the graph theory this paper proposes a modeling method for the reliability analysis of monitoring and measuring systems with hierarchy and redundancy structure. Several probabilistic reliability indices are introduced to evaluate the system reliability. A computing approach of reliability indices is also introduced and a computing case is given. At last, we analyze some problem related to the approach such as ra-tionality, applicability, complexity and computing time.
