Abstract: A computational method is presented for locating regions of the Burmester center point curve which gives the driving cranks of crank-rocker or drag-link linkages when combined with a given driven link. The numerical iterating based method is simple and easy in coding, and convergence is rapid. The method is also compatible with the procedures for avoiding solutions requiring branch changes and ensuring correct order of progression through the design positions.
