SOME PROBLEMS OF THE APPLICATION OF DIMENSIONAL THEORY TO THE RESEARCH OF METAL CUTTING

摘要: 在本文中,应用量纲理论系统地研究了与金属切削有关的一系列问题,即切削力与力矩,切削温度与刀具磨损等;指出在现有文献中[8][12]研究这些问题时的一些有待商榷的内容。并对求钻削的轴向力与力矩的实验原则与实验数据整理的方法用较新的实验数据[13]进行详细的分析与讨论。从对文献[12]的分析与讨论指出,用量钢理论的方法求钻削的轴向力与力矩时是无需横刃长度C作为一个独立的因素进行考虑的;同时,如忽略Sv/a的影响,将导致在所求得公式中S的指数增大。文中指出,进一步应用相似是而非理论研究金属切削,将使得无量纲数群的方程式建立在更完整、更严格的理论基础上。

Abstract: Dimensional theory is used syatematically for atudying a series of problema of metal cutting, namely cutting ! Force. And turning moment,cutting temperature and wenr of tools, Some defects or, errors in the references [8][12] are also pointed. Out.The principles of experiments and the method for .deriving the, empirical equations of. Determining axial force and turning moment for drilling with twist drills are.discussed in details on the.Basis of experimental data[13]. From the discussion, it is shown that in research of drilling with twist drills theinfluence of transverse edge as an independent fator can be neglected; and if the influence of dimensionless. Number su/a is neglected, the exponent of S(feed perrevolution) in the empirical equation will be augmented It has been point out that by further. Application of the theory of similitude to the research of metal cutting,the cquations in terms of dimensionless numbers call beused on a more complete and more rigorous theoretical basis.
