Abstract: Using the result; obtained by the author in an earlier paper that the acceleration error of the output link of crank-slide mechanism may ho eliminated if the length-errors of bars satisfy the following equations: (1) due to upper dead center η=Δl2/(λ2Δl1)-2/-1;(2) due to lower dead centerη=Δl2/(λ2Δl1)-2/λ+1, hereη=Δj/(Δl2 a12) is called acceleration error factor, λ is the ratio of length of crank and connecting rod. The angular acceleration error of connecting rod due to both dead centers is eliminated if the following relationship is satisfied.
