Study on Wear of Grinding Wheel in Ultrasonic Assisted Dry Side Grinding of SiCf/SiC Composites

摘要: 研究SiCf/SiC复合材料超声辅助干式侧磨砂轮磨损,为SiCf/SiC复合材料超声磨削加工提供理论与技术支持。开展SiCf/SiC复合材料超声辅助干式侧磨砂轮磨损实验,研究超声振动对砂轮磨损的影响,对砂轮表面进行追踪观测和微观分析,提取磨粒磨损特征,揭示砂轮磨损机制;统计磨粒磨损平面面积,掌握砂轮磨损规律;分析砂轮磨损和超声振动对磨削力、材料去除率和表面粗糙度的影响。研究表明:在普通干式侧磨和超声辅助干式侧磨加工中,砂轮磨损均以磨耗磨损为主,都会形成粗糙与平整的磨损平面。超声振动引入后,断裂磨损增多,包括磨粒断裂与磨粒脱落现象;磨屑堵塞较少,但是会产生较大的磨粒磨损平面;磨粒磨损引起的砂轮直径减小更明显,磨削力略微上升,材料去除率降低;工件表面粗糙度显著降低,表面粗糙度Sa值最大可以降低约30%。

Abstract: The wear of grinding wheel in ultrasonic assisted dry side grinding of SiCf/SiC composite is studied to provide theoretical and technical support for ultrasonic grinding of SiCf/SiC composite.The wear experiments of SiCj/SiC composite ultrasonic assisted dry side grinding wheel are carried out, and the influence of ultrasonic vibration on the wear of grinding wheel is studied.Observing and analyzing the surface of grinding wheel, extracting the wear characteristics of abrasive particles and revealing the wear mechanism of grinding wheel;Counting the wear plane areas of abrasive particles and mastering the wear laws of grinding wheel;The effects of grinding wheel wear and ultrasonic vibration on grinding force, material removal rate and surface roughness are analyzed.The research shows that in ordinary dry side grinding and ultrasonic assisted dry side grinding, the wear of grinding wheel is mainly attritious wear, resulting in flat wear plane and rough wear plane.After the introduction of ultrasonic vibration, the fracture wear increases, including the phenomenon of grit fracture and grit pull-out;There is less debris blockage, but it will produce large abrasive wear plane;The grinding wheel diameter decreases more obviously, the grinding force increases slightly, and the material removal rate decreases;The surface roughness of the workpiece is significantly reduced, and the surface roughness Sa value can be reduced by about 30%.
