THE STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT ON PCA-CAPP SYSTEM

Abstract

Abstract: It is presented that it is necessary and realiable to develop CAPP system used to Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) technology. PCA Component Information Descriptions are given. The decision logic methods of PCA process planning are designed and generated. The automatic PMI generation (APG) system is developed. The APG system has been applied in the actual manufacturing environment and a preliminary evaluation showed expected and pleased results.
