NUMERICAL SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL VISUALIZATION OF THE FLOW FIELD INSIDE HYDRAULIC CONTROL POPPET VALVE

Abstract: Galerkin finite element method is used to simulate the flow field inside hydraulic control poppet valve at the conditions of different openings, different structure of the valve body, different size of the valve seat, the simulation results are given by visualizing pictures. DPIV technique is used in experimental visualization, the experimental results are good agreement with numerical results. It has practical significance for us to design lower energy loss and lower noise hydraulic control poppet valves.
