Abstract: To realize the optimum utilization of used parts resources, remanufacturing decision model of used parts is established from the viewpoint of remaining useful life estimation. Based on the failure data and history floor data of used parts, Weibull distribution and artificial neural network are integrated to assess the remaining useful life. For the used parts with remaining useful life, reliability is analyzed at the end of its first life and residual life in a quantitative way respectively, combined with the parts’ reliability threshold, the remanufacturing scheme of used parts is determined, namely reuse, remanufacturing or recycle. An engine blade is taken as an example to illustrate the feasibility of the decision model.
