Abstract: In order to master the characteristics of viscoelastic suspensions used in construction vehicles developed recently, the experimental study must be performed for the vibration absorbed rubber materials installed on the suspensions. It is a new problem how to make sure these parameters to intensive fatigue experiments due to the lack of the standards of fatigue failures for the rubber materials. As for the intensive fatigue experiments for the suspensions, the characteristic values of the fatigue failure are probed, such as cycle index ne, the slope k of the S–N logarithm curves, and permissible values about rising temperatures. For developing the new type of viscoelastic suspensions installed in track–type bulldozers, three types of rubber formulas are developed, 8-level load collections of illustratived plates are established, then, the research about the intensive fatigue experiments is carried out. Through the investigation the results are applied to fatigue experiments for the suspensions used in 386 kW track–type bulldozers. Through 4 000 h application, practical data are accordant with predictive analyses in the experiments.
