THEORY OF REDUCING CHATTER WITH SEPARATING TYPE ULTRASONIC VIBRATION CUTTING

Abstract

Abstract: The dynamic cutting force characteristic in the separating type ultrasonic vibration cutting (UVC) is analysed. A theory of chatter suppression with the separating type UVC is proposed, and its physical reason and cutting dynamics are verified by my test results.
