Abstract: The main noise source identification principle by measuring the sound intensity and the sound pressure of a vehicle is described. In the same time the comparative identification of main noise sources of a vehicle are given. As a result, in the case of simple noise sources, the errors between the measurement in the way of sound pressure and the way of sound intensity are small. In the case of complex noise sources, the errors between the measurement in the way of sound pressure and the way of sound intensity are big.
