摘要: 采用平板铸件法测定了珍珠岩、发泡石膏、陶瓷棉三种保温材料和温砂型的热物理系数。从砂型铸件的凝固特点出发、提出了保温冒口的计算方法,并利用测得的热物理系数对纯铝立方体铸件做了验证,实验结果与计算相符:珍珠岩和发泡石膏保温冒口比普通冒口约小七倍、陶瓷棉保温冒口约小八倍。最后对保温冒口的效能进行了理论分析,说明形成集中缩孔的合金铸件采用保温冒口,可以显著提高生产率和铸件实收率,节省金属熔化和切割冒口费用,减少金属损耗。
Abstract: Thermal properties of green sand and three insulating materials-pearlite, foamed plaster and ceramic wool are determined by an unsteady state method involving melting and casting. An equation for insulated riser design is developed, based on solidification characteristics of sand casting. Tests are conducted on pure aluminum cube castings and a satisfactory agreement between the calculation and experimental determination of the riser size has been found: the riser insulated with pearlite or foamed plaster is about one seventh and that insulated with ceramic wool, is one eighth of the conventional. In addition, a prediction of the benefits gained from the use of insulated risers is determined by means of theoretical analysis. It is shown that use of insulated risers for alloys with narrow solidification range may give a substantial increase in productivity and casting yield, and an obvious effect in saving of the cost of melting and riser removal as well.
