摘要: 对磷酸二氢钾(Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, KDP)晶体三倍频晶面上0°、45°和90°三个方向,分别进行Berkovich压头纳米压痕试验、维氏显微压痕试验和球形压头纳米划痕试验,观察到明显的压痕尺寸效应现象,得到三个方向各向异性的力学性能、脆塑转变临界载荷和临界深度。试验结果表明,KDP晶体三倍频晶面具有强烈的各向异性,0°、45°和90°方向脆塑转变临界载荷分别为20.4 mN、33.6 mN和63.2 mN,临界深度分别为1.26 μm、1.67 μm和3.45 μm。90°方向因其具有最小硬度、最大断裂韧度以及最深脆塑转变临界深度,在划痕过程中塑性去除最多,脆塑转变最晚,是最优加工方向。根据试验结果,建立球形单点金刚石压头纳米划痕试验时脆性材料脆塑转变临界深度预测模型。

Abstract: Nano-indentation test with a Berkovich indenter, Vickres indentation test and nano-scratch test with a spherical indenter have been conducted along 0°, 45° and 90° orientations on the third harmonic generation(THG) crystal face of potassium dihydrogen phosphate(KDP) crystal. There is obvious indentation size effect on the sample. The different mechanical properties, critical loads and depths of the brittle-ductile transition of three orientation samples are obtained by the tests. Results show that the THG crystal face of KDP crystal has strong anisotropy. The critical loads of the brittle-ductile transition are 20.4 mN, 33.6 mN and 63.2 mN, while the critical depths are 1.26 μm, 1.67 μm and 3.45 μm. 90° is the optimal processing orientation because the sample has the least hardness, the largest fracture toughness, and the deepest critical depths of the brittle-ductile transition of the three. The sample which is scratched in 90° had the most ductile removal and the latest transition point from ductile to brittle. The prediction model of nano-scratch test on brittle materials with a single point spherical diamond indenter is established according to the results.
