摘要: 以电动汽车和电动工具为代表的移动机械产品的快速发展,使锂离子电池的市场增长模式从便携式电子产品应用驱动逐步转向移动机械产品应用驱动。应对电动汽车和电动工具等对大容量、长寿命锂离子电池的需求,具有原料成本低、循环稳定性高、安全性能好的橄榄石型磷酸铁锂(LiFePO4)是一种理想的锂离子电池正极材料。综述了LiFePO4正极材料的结构和性能特征以及近年来的应用概况。在总结LiFePO4正极材料合成制备技术发展的基础上,着重介绍和讨论了以三价铁为铁源、以高分子聚合物为碳源和还原剂的LiFePO4/C“原位碳包覆固相合成法”。研究表明,原位碳包覆固相合成法具有材料制备温度低、合成反应时间短、表面碳包覆膜均匀、磷酸铁锂颗粒长大速度易控及合成材料性能优良等优点。

Abstract: A transformation for the market development of lithium-ion batteries could be expected from the applications oriented by portable electronic devices to the rapidly growing demands in mobile wireless mechanical products such as electric vehicles and power tools in the next years. These new applications require large lithium-ion batteries with even long life. Olivinetype LiFePO4 is considered as the most suitable cathode materials of lithium-ion power batteries, due to its low material prices, high cycling stability and excellent safety. The crystal structure and properties, the applications and the develo- pment on the synthesis of LiFePO4 cathode materials are out- lined in the present review. A novel synthesis route for LiFe PO4/C called “solid-state in-situ carbon-coating synthesis” using Fe3+ compounds as the iron source and hydrocarbon poly- mers as the carbon source and reductant are recommended and discussed. It is suggested that the solid-state in-situ carbon- coating synthesis could decrease the synthesis temperature, reduce the reaction duration, control the particle coarsening and could produce carbon coated LiFePO4 powders with high ele- ctrochemical properties as the cathode material for lithium-ion batteries.
