光固化原型热解制备陶瓷构件碳支架的反应机理

摘要: 提出一种基于光固化快速成形技术的制造复杂形状碳化硅陶瓷构件的新工艺。设计制造构件的光固化原型,在真空炉中以20 ℃/min的升温速度加热到800 ℃,并保温30 min将其热解得到碳支架材料。利用热解/红外光谱联用分析仪分析光固化树脂热解过程中逸出气体的成分;用能谱和红外光谱分析热解残留物的元素成分和官能团,并用扫描电镜表征残留物的显微结构;用Archimedes法测定热解碳的气孔率。根据分析结果可以推定,热解过程为缩聚反应,在此过程中逸出小分子烷烃、CO2和醛类挥发分,残留物为多孔碳并含有少量氢和氧元素。碳支架的气孔率达到42%,随升温速度加快而增加。光固化原型的热解碳残留率为10%,碳支架的弯曲强度达到22 Mpa,可以满足后续渗硅工艺的要求。

Abstract: A novel process for fabricating complex-shaped silicon carbide ceramic parts based on the stereolithography (SL) prototyping techonology is presented. Carbon template is fabricated by pyrolysis of SL prototype at a heating rate of 20 ℃/min from room temperature to 800 ℃ and then hold 30 min under vacuum. The identification of volatile components derived from pyrolysis of photo-curable resin is investigated by pyrolysis / Fourier transforms infrared spectrometer (Py/FTIR). The ele-ments identification and chemical bond analysis of the pyro-lyzate of photo-curable resin are studied by X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) and FTIR respectively. The morphology of the carbon template is analyzed by scanning electron micro-scope (SEM). Open porosity of the carbon templates are meas-ured by Archimedes principle. The results show that the pyroly-sis reaction is a condensation polymerization process in which low molecular weight paraffin hydrocarbon, CO2 and aldehyde are produced and escape in gaseity. So a little carbon is lost. The pyrolyzates are porous carbonaceous materials that contain a little H and O. The open porosity is 42% and increases with the heating rate. The residual carbon mass fraction of SL proto-type is 10%. The bending strength of the carbon template is 22 Mpa that is sufficient for the requirement of infiltration of Si.
