Abstract: An IGBT inverter for spot welding is introduced Its working principe and design feature are discussed. As result of the research, it is shown that the developed IGBT inverter spot welding processes the following advantages: its structure and electric circuit are simpler; the working reliability and efficiency are higher. It will have a wide prospect in application to spot welding.
