Reliability Assessment Method of Remanufacturing Process for Machine Tools Based on GO Method

Abstract:

Stability and reliability of remanufacturing process are foundation to enhance the reliability of remanufactured machine tools. Remanufacturing processes including machine tools recycling, disassembly, cleaning, inspection and sorting, reconditioning, reassembly as well as debugging and testing of remanufactured machine tools have great influence on the reliability of remanufactured machine tools. For this, reliability of remanufacturing process for machine tools is defined and the influence factors of reliability of remanufacturing process are analyzed. Then, a reliability assessment method of remanufacturing process for machine tools based on GO method is proposed. In addition, the GO reliability model and probability model of remanufacturing process for machine tools are established. Finally, the proposed method is applied to remanufacturing process of gear hobbing machine by one remanufacturer of used machine tools.
