Principle and Control Method for Precisely Grinding Quadratic Rotated Conicoid

Abstract: The new principle of precision generating and swing grinding the quadratic rotated conicoid is introduced based on the spherical surface grinding method. Grinding spindle rotation center line coincides with the normal line of the ground point on the quadratic rotated conicoid, the swing center point is always in the rotation axis of the quadratic rotated conicoid. Through the theoretical analysis, the proof of principle is feasible. And further on, the motion control model of precision generating and swing grinding the quadratic rotated conicoid is discussed; the precision grinding machine is constructed. The grinding experiment results are satisfactory.
