Abstract: Based on the theoretic analysis and experiment, the making characteristic for binary ice in vacuum environment is studied and some factors influencing binary ice making, such as the pressure in the flash chamber, water jacket temperature, supply water temperature, water velocity, water quality are analyzed. Research results show that the pressure in the flash chamber, supply water temperature, water quality and initial diameter of water-drops,velocity have a great influence on binary ice making. With the pressure in the flash chamber becoming high the crystallization time becomes long, and the rate of icing, water drop evaporation becomes low; And with supply water temperature lower, the time for icing is longer;with the initial diameter of the water droplet increasing, the process of water drop flashing, icing becomes longer. But the ambient temperature has little effect on flash of water droplet, icing.
