Abstract: The mouse has become a kind of childrens products with high frequency. Badness operation posture will lead to childrens health problem. There are some points often touch mouse in the operation, which include five finger belly, proximal interphalangeal joint, metacarpophalangeal joint, and three contacting points of palm. Appropriate design the location of these points on mouse shape will provide effective support and reduce the operation of the hand adjustment, meet the healthy requirements in operation. The relationship between upper limbs extremity cumulative trauma and hand moving and support is analyzed based on the principles of hand tools and hand physiological structure. The main impacts of key point to mouse shape design are summarized. The method of percentiles is used to get typical scale of classification of sample data in design progress. The data of key point is used to build the three-dimensional, complete the children’s mouse shape design. The internal logic of the design process is summed up. It provides a new reference for the design method of relevant hand-held product. The reasonableness of key point is verified through survey data, clay modeling, data analysis, construction of digital model. Those measurement data of key points makes foundation for further study of similar products.
