Abstract: Aiming to digitizing the complex border of car dies，a 3-D adaptive measuring method is suggested, which make it possible to digitize the 3-D curve adaptively, fast and safely. A simple model is also built in order to process the complex border of car dies. A 6-D manufacture trace generating method is presented to process the measuring data and produce 6-D manufacturing data. Some experiments is carried out by A computer integrated multifunctional 5-axis laser processing system.
