Abstract: On the basis of the analysis of Chinese industrialization process, it is clarified that IE is an important tool for Chinese economy development by the study on the relationship between industrial engineering and industrial process is analyzed. Then, the status quo of CIE is discussed, and the theory, the technology system and the requirement features are demonstrated thereafter. At the end the strategies of CIE development are brought forward systematically.
