NEW V-SHAPED UNIDIRECTIONAL CLUTCH WITH LOWER PAIR

Abstract: The V-shaped unidirectional clutch is made of inner ring, outer ring, wedge and driven disk. The driven disk is power input element, inner ring is power output element. When driven disk revolves faster than inner ring, driven disk drives inner ring to revolve at the same speed by pin and wedge on driven disk. Otherwise, driven disk and inner ring revolve at different speeds. The calculation of the element strength and related parameters formula are given. The new clutch has more advantages than higher pair V-shaped clutch. It may transmit bigger torsional power and has long life as well as better anti-impact performance. It is deserved wide application.
