Abstract: The influence of Co,Al on the microstructures of high Ni-Co secondary-hardening steel is studied by M?ssbauer spectroscopy. Results show that distribution of alloying elements Ni,Cr,Mo are influenced by mass fraction of Co in martensite. Both Co and Al elements promote the translation of austenite to martensite during quenching, the amount of austenite decreases with increasing mass of fraction of Co or Al in steel, and Co or Al element also promotes the formation of alloying carbide during tempering, the quantity carbide increases with increasing mass of fraction of Co or Al in steel.
