Abstract: High carbon and high vanadium high-speed steel/45 steel bimetal composite material was fabricated by improved inlayed-casting. The morphology and structure of composite material bonding interface under different technological parameters was studied. The results show the well-bonded interface can be gained under proper technologic parameters, the main bonding pattern of bimetal composite material is diffused bonding, and the proportion of east-inlayed and holding time have obvious effect on interface structure of composite material.
