Abstract: A computer aided design (CAD) and simulation system, based on micro-drill mathematical model and engineering database, is introduced. The approaches of CAD and simulation for micro-drill are studied. The structure of the system has been advanced and the function of each part of the system is described. The structure and development of the CAD and simulation system under personal computer for micro-drill is advanced. Then, an example for application is discussed, and the simulation figures of flute, flank surface of the micro-drill point and micro-drill point are given.
