NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON 3-D TURBULENT FLOW AROUND THE SEDAN

Abstract: The spacing grids are generated by elliptic system, and the Navier-Stockes equations of 3-D steady incompressible turbulent flow are solved by the finite-volume method and E k-ε model to simulate the outer flow field around the sedan. The present numerical results are found to be in broad agreement with the wind tunnel testing.
