ANALYSIS OF THE AFFICTION FROM TENSION TO STRIP ROLLING PROCESS BY ELASTIC-PLASTIC CONTACT BEM

Abstract: A multi-nonlinear boundary element method is established dealing with elastic-plastic finite deformation contact problem with friction, and it is employed to analysis the effect of tension to rolling process. Several examples are presented, and the results on contact pressure and frictional stress showed excellent agreement with that of analysis and finite element methods and test A novel, simple and accurate method is proposed for analysis of rolling problems.
