Abstract: In order to acquire and verify the anti-pressure formula of magnetic fluid reciprocating seal, the motion mechanism of magnetic fluid is studed during the magnetic fluid reciprocating seal. The distribution of magnetic field and anti-pressure ability of seal pieces are analysed by using finite-elementary way. The anti-pressure formula of magnetic fluid reciprocating seal is reduced through combining Navier-Stokes equation with Maxwell equation. The influence of revolution and stroke on the anti-pressure ability is verified by using the test platform of magnetic fluid reciprocating seal.
