Abstract: The relations between the Vicker hardness and ultimate strength of 2Gr12MoVNbNiNB thermal resistant steel hardened and tempered at 700℃, and subsequently aging at 550℃~650℃ for 0-5000h, are studied. The results show that ①when L-M parameter P is less than 20.7 × 103, the amount、size and distribution of the second phases in the steel, the content of alloy elements and the dislocation density in the matrix are correlated with the hardness、yield strength and ultimate strength. ②When P is larger than 20.7 × 103. It results that the change of the hardness HV30 and yield strength σ0.2 are not associated with the ultimate strength, the linear relations between HV30; and σb is no more.
