Abstract: In this paper, the relationship among the density of grinding marks for face-grinding and the geometrical parameters, such as shape and dimension of grinding tool, and the movement parameters, such as horizontal and cross feed movement is analyzed. The analyzing results are agreement with experimental results. Using these analyzing results, geometry and movement parameters can be selected rationally.
