Abstract: In order to keep the data integral, correct and consistent in many BOM views, based on the mathematical describing model about the product and parts assembling relation in EBOM, PPBOM and MBOM, a mapping model is presented to deal with the transform among them. It is realized to transform into MBOM from EBOM and PPBOM by four special parts and the relevant mapping functions, which are defined as the successive parts, virtual parts, intermediate parts and collaborating parts. The practical application shows the BOM view mapping model is efficient and feasible.
