On the Homogeneity of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties for Stream Generator Tube Sheet

摘要: 通过对小型模块反应堆蒸汽发生器管板的解剖试验,分析不同部位试料的化学成分、力学性能和显微组织的均匀性。试料A~F化学成分均匀,C的质量分数控制在0.18%~0.19%范围内,S和P的质量分数分别控制在0.002%和0.005%以内,其他合金元素质量分数仅在一个非常小的范围内波动。从调质态试料的周向力学性能来看,室温和高温强度均在正常范围波动,相对而言,冲击韧性波动较大。试料E在-10℃低温平均冲击功仅为76 J (最低47 J),基本满足最低标准要求。均匀分布的短棒状或近球形的碳化物+回火马氏体的显微组织具有良好的强韧性。因淬透性不足而发生贝氏体相变产生的长棒状或不规则形状的晶界碳化物是导致韧性降低的主要原因。管板锻件整体成形后基本可以达到力学性能均匀化的目的,但整体锻造工艺和后续性能热处理工艺具有进一步优化的空间。

Abstract: The mechanical properties and microstructures of tube sheet of steam generator for the small modular reactor use are estimated to examine the uniformity of material in different sections. The composition analysis shows that the C content varies between 0.18wt.%-0.19wt.%, and S and P contents are less than 0.002 wt.% and 0.005 wt.%, respectively. The contents of other alloying elements vary in a very small and reasonable range. The strength at room (23℃) or elevated temperatures (350℃) is generally homogenously distributed in circumferential direction after quench-temper treatment, whereas the corresponding impact toughness has a relatively larger fluctuation with the average and minimum adsorbed energy of 76 J and 47 J for sample E tested at -10℃, which just meets the required value. The uniformly distributed short rod-like carbides in tempered martensite are responded for the improved combination of strength and toughness, whereas the unevenly distributed carbides with irregular shape at grain boundaries formed due to insufficient hardenability induces unexpected mechanical properties, especially the degraded toughness. Generally, the uniform mechanical properties can be achieved throughout the integral forged tube sheet of steam generator, but it seems that the integral forging and heat treatment processing can be further modified after more meticulous consideration on heat treatments.
