双线阵纵波相控阵探头斜入射全聚焦成像检测

Total Focusing Method Imaging for Oblique Incidence Test using Linear Transmit-receive Longitudinal Phased Array Probe

摘要: 全聚焦成像因其具有高缺陷分辨率和检测灵敏度在超声无损检测领域应用广泛。为避免全聚焦成像中探头近场区影响和确保被检区域能够有效检测,进一步提高成像质量,提出一种斜入射双线阵相控阵探头全聚焦成像方法。将全聚焦成像与双线阵相控阵探头结合起来,通过改进全聚焦成像算法来实现缺陷的检测。利用不同屋顶角的双线阵相控阵探头对铝制和黄铜试块进行全矩阵采集,并进行全聚焦图像重建,将成像结果与单线阵斜入射全聚焦成像对比。结果表明,在黄铜试块和铝制试块的检测中,屋顶角为2.5°和5°双线阵斜入射缺陷成像相比于单线阵斜入射缺陷成像API值最大低0.8和0.6,SNR值最多高9.7 dB和11.1 dB,最大幅值高21.6 dB和23.9 dB。此斜入射双晶相控阵探头全聚焦成像方法更适用于针对不同区域选择合适屋顶角的楔块进行分层检测和粗晶材料的缺陷检测。

Abstract: Total focusing method is widely used in the field of ultrasonic non-destructive testing due to its high defect resolution and detection sensitivity. In order to avoid the influence of the near-field region of the probe in the total focusing imaging and ensure that the detected area can be effectively detected, and further improve the imaging quality, an oblique incidence dual-line array phased array probe total focusing imaging method is proposed. The total focusing method is combined with the dual-line array phased array probe, and the defect detection is realized by improving the total focusing imaging algorithm. The aluminum and brass test blocks were collected by full-matrix capturing using dual-line array phased array probes with different roof angles, and the total focusing image reconstruction was performed. The imaging results were compared with the results of single-line array oblique incidence total focusing imaging. The results show that in the detection of brass test blocks and aluminum test blocks, the oblique incidence defect imaging API values of the dual-line array with roof angles of 2.5° and 5° are 0.8 and 0.6 lower than those of the single-line array oblique incidence defect imaging API values. The SNR values are up to 9.7 dB and 11.1 dB, and the maximum amplitude values are 21.6 dB and 23.9 dB higher. The Total focusing method of oblique incidence transmit-receive phased array probe is more suitable for the stratified detection of wedges with suitable roof angles in different areas and the defect detection of coarse crystal materials.
