摘要: 采用DEFORM 3D软件对Zr55Al10Cu30Ni5非晶合金的(Vickers)压痕塑性变形进行数值模拟,得到压痕的尖端区域(压头尖端正下方区域)、棱区域(压头棱下方区域)、面区域(压头相邻棱之间面的下方区域)等不同区域的等效应力、应变分布。模拟结果表明,尖端区域的等效应力、等效应变要比棱区域大,而这两个区域的应力、应变比面区域大。对压痕正下方大约30 μm×30 μm范围内尖端区域、棱区域和面区域某些点进行等效应力、应变追踪,分析等效应力、应变的变化规律,发现在棱区域和面区域虽然是等距离取点但是面区域应力、应变降低的幅度要大于棱区域。这些模拟结果有助于理解Vickers压痕不同塑性变形区域存在不同晶化行为的试验事实,以认识非晶合金机械稳定性的本质。

Abstract: Through the finite element simulation on the Vickers indentation deformation of Zr55Al10Cu30Ni5 amorphous alloy by using DEFORM 3D software, the distribution of effective stresses and strains on the different regions in an indent are investigated. The results of simulation indicate that the effective stress and strain under the tip of indenter are larger than that under the edges, and they are both larger than that on the surface regions enclosed by the neighboring edges. Some points are chosen on the edge and surface regions for the tracking investigation of effective stresses and strains, from which the variation of effective stresses and strains is obtained. Furthermore, it is found that the decreased amplitude of effective stress and strain on the surface regions is larger than that on the edge region. The simulation results are helpful to explaining the experimental fact that different crystallization behaviors occur on the different deformation regions in a Vickers indent and understanding the mechanical stability of an amorphous alloy.
