摘要: 介绍一种低纹波、高线性度飞轮磁轴承脉冲宽度调制(Pulse-width modulation, PWM)功率放大器带死区补偿的三电平脉宽调制策略在现场可编程门阵列(Field programmable gate array, FPGA)上的实现方法,采用浮点IP核组合实现功放电流环PD控制算法,在Simulink中借助System Generator工具构建三电平PWM模型并自动生成VHDL代码。分析三电平脉宽调制原理及其在全桥功放结构下的两种实现形式,一种使用功率开关管中的反并联二极管续流,另一种不使用二极管续流。基于功放电流响应试验结果及其傅里叶分析研究死区时间对功放输出线性度的影响。提出两种死区补偿方法,一种对开关信号的等效占空比进行补偿,另一种在功放输入端引入偏移量,偏移量由输入信号的极性决定。在实际FPGA功放板上试验验证了三电平PWM两种实现形式及两种死区补偿方法的可行性和有效性。

Abstract: The method for the implementation of a three-level pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme on the field programmable gate array (FPGA) is introduced. The PWM is with compensation for dead-band effect for flywheel magnetic bearing power amplifier with low current ripple and high output linearity. The proportional-derivative algorithm in the current loop is implemented by using floating-point IP core portfolio. In Simulink, the System Generator tool is used to build the three-level PWM model and to automatically generate the VHDL code. Two three-level modulation schemes, using or not using the diode in the power switch to conduct current, are analyzed. The effect of dead-band on the output linearity is researched on the basis of the test result of power amplifier current response and its Fourier analysis. Two compensating methods, one compensates the pulse duration ratio, the other adds offset to the input of the amplifier, are presented. The three-level modulation schemes together with the compensating methods are implemented on an FPGA power amplifier board to verify their feasibility and efficiency.
