指尖密封迟滞特性的机理分析

摘要: 采用有限元法分析了指尖密封的迟滞现象,结果表明静态工作情况下的指尖密封无迟滞特征;对于动态工作情况下的指尖密封,转子对指尖梁的径向作用力变化一个循环时出现的迟滞特征是指尖密封的一个必然存在的现象。从功能观点出发对指尖密封发生迟滞的机理进行了分析,发现迟滞现象是因为指尖密封在工作过程中摩擦力作功不等形成迟滞能而造成的,迟滞能的存在与否及其大小决定了指尖密封是否具有迟滞特性以及迟滞程度的强弱。通过改进指尖密封结构以提高指尖梁刚度、或减小作用于指尖片上的净载荷以及减小密封元件配伍材料的摩擦因数等方法,均可有效减小指尖密封的迟滞能,降低迟滞作用。研究结果为设计低迟滞、具有良好封严性能的指尖密封结构提供理论基础。

Abstract: The hysteresis phenomena of finger seal is studied by using the finite element method. It is concluded that there is no hysteresis for the finger seal working in static conditions. But the hysteresis of the finger seal working in dynamic situations is an inevitable phenomenon when the radial force on the finger changes in a cycle, which influences the leakage obviously. The hysteresis characteristics are analyzed from the viewpoint of energy. It is found that the hysteresis is caused by the different friction work at a cycle of force applied to the finger which generates the hysteresis energy. Under a certain condition, the characteristic of hysteresis depends on whether there is hysteresis energy or not, and the hysteresis degree is determined by the value of hysteresis energy. It is presented that the lower hysteresis finger seal can be obtained through the reasonable structure design of finger seal to increase the finger seal’s stiffness or decrease the pressure on the upside seal. It is a good way to reduce the hysteresis energy so as to weaken the hysteresis by decreasing the friction coefficient of finger and aft plate. The basis for the further reasonable design of finger seal with low hysteresis and high performance is also established.
