选择性激光烧结新型扫描方式的研究及实现

摘要: 选择性激光烧结(Selective laser sintering,SLS)快速成形技术是近10年来发展起来的一种先进制造技术,采用此项技术可以显著地缩短产品投放市场的周期,降低成本,提高产品质量,增强企业的竞争能力。而扫描方式是SLS成形过程中的一项关键技术,在分析了现有扫描方式及其对SLS制件精度、强度以及成形速度影响的基础上,指出了现有扫描方式的缺陷。为了克服这种缺陷,特提出并实现了一种新的分区变向扫描方式及其分区算法,它通过将扫描线段进行分组以避开截面内孔和凹槽。这种新的分区变向扫描方式及其算法已经成功地应用到华中科技大学开发的HRPS系列SLS系统中。实际应用表明:这种新型扫描方式能大幅度地提高烧结成形效率和减小烧结体的翘曲变形量。

Abstract: Selective laser sintering (SLS) rapid prototyping (RP) technology is a kind of advanced manufacturing technology that has been developed these ten years. To adopt this technology can remarkably shorten the period that products are launched into the market, lower the cost of the products, improve the quality of the products, enhance the competition capability of the enterprises. However, the scanning mode is a key technology in the SLS fabrication process. On the basis of analysis of the existing scanning mode and its influence on the precision, intension , and the fabrication efficiency of the sintering parts, some disadvantages of the existing scanning mode are pointed out. To overcome the disadvantages, a new kind of subarea and direction change scanning mode, which divides the scanning lines into group to keep away from the inner holes and grooves , is presented and carried out. This new kind of scanning mode and its arithmetic have successfully been applied to HRPS series SLS systems developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Practical application shows that this new kind of scanning mode can greatly improve the fabrication efficiency and minish the curl distortion of the sintering parts.
