视觉系统在窄间隙焊缝自动跟踪中应用的研究

摘要: 本文论述了一种经济有效的视觉系统的研究及其在窄间隙TIG焊接中焊缝自动跟踪的应用,该系统以IBM-PC AT为主机,带有图象存取扩充板,用CCD摄像机摄取电弧区域及焊接坡口的图象,然后把它数字化,成为具有七位(即128级)灰暗度的256×256个象点(或象素),并存入图象存取板。IBM-PC对获得的数字图象进行实时图象处理,应用了寻边及模板耦合两种方法。所得到的视觉信息被反馈到焊接控制器,进而对焊接过程进行有效的焊缝自动跟踪。

Abstract: An effective low cost vision system has been developed for automatic seam tracking of marrow gap (NG) TIG welding. The are region including the NG preparation is viewed by a CCD camera, and digitized into 256×256 pixels with 7-bit grey levels by the IBM-PC based frame grabber board. Information about the positions of sidewalls and tungsten electrode is extracted by analyzing of grey levels images in real time. Two methods of image analyzing have been developed, namely edge detection and template matching. Vision information is fed back to the welding rig controller for automatic seam tracking.
