中国古代的铸造铜鼓

摘要: 鼓是古代人民的一种乐器。约在公元前1600前,中国中原地区铸造了周身为铜的铜鼓;约在公元前600前,西南地区又铸造了一面中空的铜鼓。后者在中国有大量出土,现存有一千四百多个。由于战争和其他原因,一些民族逐渐向南方迁徒,铜鼓很早便流传到越南、缅甸和南洋等地。欧洲帝国主义者曾掠夺一些铜鼓,并送往欧洲陈列,有一些学者对少数铜鼓作了些研究和报导。越南独立后,自称是铜鼓的故乡;实则中国存有世界最原始的铜鼓,而且保存最多,分布最广。本文对铜鼓的类别、来源和发展作了介绍,并从铸造的观点对铜鼓的化学成份、冶炼方法和造型工艺作了比较详细叙述。

Abstract: Drums are used as a kind of music instrument, even in ancient time. Before or after 2000 B, C. , in the middle China, bronze drums with bronze all over were produced. About 600 B. C. bronze drums with one face empty were produced in the south western part of China, The later have been unearthed very many after the liberation of China, and more than 1400 pieces are reserved in different museums. Due ro the wars of different dynasty and some other reasons, people of south- western China moved south-ward, the technique of casting bronze drum was brought to Vietnam, Burma and south-eastern Asia, During nineteenth century, the European imperialist robbed several bronze drums and sent to Europe for exhibition, meanwhile, some scholars made reports on bronze drums for different magazines about bronze drums. Vietmam after her independence claimed that she was the native land of bronze drums. In fact, China Keeps the original or the earliest bronze drums of all over the world. In this paper, the writer made a good analysis about the styles, initiation and progress of bronze drums, and from the standpoint of a foundryman, described more detail about the chemical composition, the furnace of melting and the methods of molding bronze drums.
