稠化剂对脂润滑膜演化性能影响的试验研究

Experimental Observation of Thickener Effects on Grease Film Evolution

摘要: 润滑脂稠化剂对润滑脂理化性能和机械动态性能产生明显影响,分别采用流变仪和球-盘点接触光干涉润滑油膜测量仪,对润滑脂的流变特性和润滑膜的演化过程进行了测试。结果表明,在充分供脂条件下稠化剂类型对润滑脂的成膜特性存在影响,其主要原因是润滑脂的表观黏度不同;在定量供脂条件下,锂基润滑脂的润滑状态优于其他类型的润滑脂。结合润滑脂的流变特性和滚道分布特征分析,发现润滑脂的回填特性与其储存模量、弹性模量及其交点处的剪应力相关,流变参数随着剪应力降低,是基础油析出量增加和回填的主要原因;黏附力和黏联性对润滑脂吸附、转移和表面分布特征产生影响。通过对试验后的滚道图进行分析,发现脂须状分布特征利于析出油的输运和回填。距离滚道不同距离的润滑脂承受不同程度的剪切,对于润滑脂膜的形成发挥不同的作用。

Abstract: Grease thickeners exert a significant influence on the chemo-physical and mechanical dynamic properties of grease. The rheological properties of grease are measured using a rheometer, while the evolution process of the lubricating film is assessed using an optical ball-on-disc lubricating film measuring apparatus. The results indicate that the thickeners affect the grease film formation under sufficient supply conditions due to variations in apparent viscosity. Under a fixed amount of grease supply conditions, the lithium grease shows a better lubrication state than those of greases with other thickener types. By analyzing the grease rheological properties and rolling track distributions, it is observed that lubricant replenishment in grease is associated with storage modulus, elastic modulus, and shear stress at intersection points. The decrease in rheological parameters with increasing shear stress will contribute to the increase in base oil bleeding and subsequent replenishment. The tackiness of grease affects the grease adhesion on the surface and transformation between contact surfaces, subsequently determining the grease distributions. Through analysis of rolling track images, it is found that the grease distributions with finger patterns facilitate bleeding oil transportation and replenishment. Grease experiences varying degrees of shear at different distances from the rolling track, playing distinct roles in grease film formation.
