Research on STL Model Center Layout Strategy in 3DP Technique

摘要: 针对3DP工艺中零件排样问题,由于不同零件成型方向所产生的阶梯误差存在差异,因此排样过程零件旋转受到限制。同时为了避免零件间受到粘结剂渗透影响,它们之间需预留间隙。基于粉床中心位置零件的成型质量要优于四周,提出了一种基于投影算法的STL模型中心排样策略。该方法将三维排样问题转化为二维不规则排样,以排样环作为零件的移动路径,排样点作为模型移动的参考位置,并以二维平面上的圆形空间评价排样结果,从而实现了多个零件中心排样。以两类典型的STL模型进行了三组算例的中心排样实验,结果表明:该中心排样策略对不同类型的零件均取得了较好的排样效果。

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of part layout in 3DP technique, the rotation of parts in the layout process is limited due to the difference of step errors caused by different parts forming directions. At the same time, parts need to leave a gap,in order to avoid the impact of adhesive penetration between them. Based on the fact that the forming quality of the parts in the center of the powder bed is usually better than that in the surrounding areas, a central layout strategy of STL model based on projection algorithm is proposed. In this method,the three dimensional layout problem is transformed into two-dimensional irregular layout. The layout ring is used as the moving path of the parts, the layout point is used as the reference position of the model movement, and the layout result is evaluated by the circular space on the two-dimensional plane, so as to realize the center layout of multiple parts. Three groups of examples are carried out with two types of typical STL models. The results show that the central layout strategy has achieved good layout effect on different types of parts.
