Scheme of Ventilation Structure for TEFC Induction Motor

Abstract: In order to reveal the effect of foot tendons structure of the TEFC induction motor on the flow field rheological characteristics and temperature rise distribution performance and obtain the optimal ventilation cooling performance of the foot tendons structure, taking a TEFC induction motor as an example, the fluid field and temperature field coupled solved region of half the motor is established according to the structure characteristics, and the fluid field and thermal field inside the motor with several foot tendons structures are calculated using finite volume element method on the basis of numerical analysis of temperature field and temperature rise test. By comparing of the temperature rise characteristics of stator core, stator winding, frame and so on, and rheological characteristics inside the motor domain under different scheme, the influence of motor foot tendons structure on the fluid field and temperature field is cleared and the optimal scheme of tendons structure is given.
