DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACT-ERISTIC ANALYSIS ON THE DIESEL CERAMIC WALL FLOW FILTER

Abstract: According to the requirement of diesel particulate emission control and the performance of the diesel ceramic wall flow filter produced in China, the manufacture techniques and the material component of the ceramic wall flow filter are improved, and a new type ceramic wall flow filter of metal coat is developed in order to satisfy the requirement of the filter re-verse cleaning technology. The characteristics of resistance, filtration and regeneration of the improved ceramic wall flow filter and the ceramic wall flow filter coated metal are analyzed by experiments. The experimental results show that the performances of the improved ceramic wall flow filter increase and the ceramic wall flow filter of metal coat exhibit excellent and particular performances.
