Abstract: Computer aided design (CAD) method is used for designing formulation of FCW on the basis of required composition for deposit metal and transfer efficiency of alloy elements, selecting specification of strip( width and thickness ), calculating filling coefficient and amount of used strip on the basis of gross mass and gross volume of flux, loose density of every component and ratio of exterior section area of FCW to flux filling area.
