Influence of Kinetic Parameters on Vehicle Twist Test of Exported Train

Abstract: At present, there is no mature experience in the field of railway vehicle twist test, whether it is to carry out field test or simulation calculation. By comparing different twist test standards, it shows that the railway vehicle twist test standard of exported country is quite strict. The SIMPACK software was used to model the dynamics of an exported vehicle, and the calculation of twist test simulation was carried out according to the test standard. At the same time, the field twist test was carried out to verify the simulation results. Both the simulation calculation and the field test results show that the twist test results of the original kinetic parameters far exceed the specified values of the test standard. The experimental design DOE method was used to investigate the influence of thousands of different kinetic parameters on the results of the twist test. The influence of the key parameters of the dynamics on the vehicle twist test was obtained, and the original parameters were re-optimized based on the influence of various parameters. The results show that the shortcomings of simulation has been made up by the calculation process of proposed vehicle twist test. On the other hand, the influence of dynamic parameters on railway vehicle twist test can provide theoretical basis for enterprise product design and ensure the reasonability in the exported vehicle twist test.
