EXPANSION APPROACH FOR PACKING DESIGN OF PLANAR GEAR TRANSMISSION

Abstract

Abstract: Packing design is an important problem in gear transmission system design, the key is to build an efficient representation and solvent model. An expansion method is provided to solve this problem. Expansion method is a kind of algorithm method that finds positions of packing items by putting expansion and repulsion operations among packing items. This method can represent multi-layer structure of gearbox and gear-mashing constraints, and it is a kind of good solvent model for gear transmission’s packing problem.
