STUDY ON REAL-TIME MEASUREMENT FOR TEMPERATURE FIELD BY IMAGES COLORIMETRIC METHOD

Abstract

Abstract: Real-time temperature field measurement can be obtained by images colorimetric method using ICCD as detector. However due to limited dynamic respone range of the ICCD, the measurable range of the temperature is very small. The choice of two color wavelength is also very difficulty problem. In order to expand the temperature measurement range, authors developed a device which can take several two color images with different shut off time subsequently within very short time. The analysis are based on computer calculation of a mathematical model established by authors. On basis of the analysis, optimum wavelengthes are obtained for a given sensor system. Experimental work was carried out to check the correctness of the theoretical results.
